A few weeks ago I posted part one of my ri portrait studio tour, I showed you what my sales/meeting room and front foyer look like. Today I wanted to share my prop stash and some bits of the shooting room itself. If you missed that post you can see it here.
Baby bling, If you've checked out my portfolio you'll know I love putting tiara's on little baby girls. Lets face it she is your little princess!
If you haven't seen my newborn work click here to check it out! This link will open in a new window :)
This is only a handful of my ever expanding bonnet collection, I have just about every color you can think of, I have been really drawn to the pretty salmon and mint colors that are out right now.
If there is a specific color you want to match your nursery please don't hesitate to ask! I have no problem picking up something special for each of my newborn clients.
I have a large assortment of wraps, layering piece's and basket suffers for my newborn sessions .
This is the fun stuff, This is all of my fabric's and blankets It
s kind of color coordinated.. we will see how long they stay looking this neat! Also I am pretty sure I have more at home waiting to be washed, I'm not sure where i'll put those ones...
The basket with the bonnets clipped to it is actually filled with more fabric that I use for basket sets and with older babies and children, they tend to wrinkly so They have to be steamed before each shoot. I have plans of mounting it all on a wooden frame, We will see if that ever happens
Baskets and containers! I can't help but ask myself while shopping "can I put a baby in that?" This is far from all of my baskets, most are being used in the studio to hold other things marketing piece's, tutu's, towels...
I also have a huge selection of hats and fashion items for older babies , ranging
Tutu's in every color and size ,to lace rompers again every color and size! I have leg warmers, pearls, hat's head bands flower clips, the list goes on and on......
This is a selection of cloth backdrops that are digitally printed. I have some that are 2 sided, I may have a shopping addiction.
Here are some of my vinyl backdrops
and floor drops, and I do mean some of....
And because all those fabric backdrops and vinyl ones aren't enough I also have 6 rolls of seamless paper hung at all times, with more stored in my office.....
it makes for a quick and
easy backdrop changes during any type of portrait session. I love having 6 different colors right at my finger tips. I use these most often with my high school senior portraits, family sessions as well as with professional head and shoulder portraits.
What you want a baby carriage in your pictures!? O that's not a problem, I have three and chances are more will come!
I'd love to hear about what you think of all my stuff! Do you think its great or do you think its time I purge! please leave me comments in my guest book.
