Q. Do you have a studio, or do you travel to my home?
A. I do have a studio, it is located at 3890 Post Rd. Warwick,RI. However if you chose I can travel to your home for the session or even the viewing/ ordering appointment! Some additional fees may apply.
Q. I was wondering if you had an option to have copies of the pictures on a CD/ do you offer files?
A. You may purchase a CD as an add on item, my packages can be found on the last three pages on my pricing guide All of my packages now include files . These all include the files as a download option on my website in your private gallery. You may purchase a custom designed DVD or USB drive at an additional fee. ($150 for either). However seeing that you can download the full resolution files straight to your computer most people do not opt for this upgrade.
Q. The boutique baby plan (three sessions) looks like a fantastic deal the $300 includes all 3 sessions? So after you finish paying the $300 at the newborn session there's no session fee due at the 6 month and 1 year cake smash?
A. That is correct the $300 includes all three sessions time, talent, use of studio ! You may also add milestone sessions (maternity, 3 mo.,9mo....) for an additional $50 each.
Q. Do you have props and things?
A. Oh boy do I! I have a bit of a problem when it comes to buying cute things for newborn sessions. Before your session I will be in touch and we will talk about your vision. If there is something specific you are looking for don't hesitate to ask! Chance's are if I don't have it I will get it just for your portraits!
Q. What if my baby doesn't sleep?
A. I schedule ample time for newborn sessions, if your little one is a bit fussy, I can usually get them to settle down. Be sure to follow the instructions on how to prepare for the baby portrait's in my welcome guide. The biggest thing is don't stress, I have no where to go and only your session to worry about that day.
Q. Can I bring my....(mom,friend,husband,cousin....)
A. I ask for newborn sessions that you only bring people who are calm, cool and collective. Sometimes newborn sessions can take a while. I also have the room turned up to a nice balmy 83 degrees. So with that in consideration some people might get antsy, and baby can seance that! I like to keep the distractions minimal, so I ask that there be no more than one guest unless they are joining in some of the portraits.
Q. Can I bring my (dog,cat,ferret...)
A. I understand that your pet is part of the family as well. I will do my best to include your fury friend, however my main concern is for your babies safety. I may opt to do a composite photograph, where the animal might never really be anywhere near the baby. I also suggest having someone that can bring the pet home once the images are taken that are needed are complete.
Q. Can we photograph my newborn outside?
A. I would love that! However only if its above 80 (or 70 and baby is bundled). I do have many tricks up my sleeve and I photograph great spots with baskets and props year round so even if we can't go outside for the session I can make it look like we were.
Q. What forms of payments do you take? Do you do payment plans?
A. I take all major credit cards, Cash, and personal check. I can do payment plans, however no products will leave the studio until payment has been made in full. I will not place the order until at least half the total amount has been paid.
Q. What is the average a person spends with you?
A. Most of my boutique baby plan clients will invest an average of $550 per session.
Q. Why do I have to come back in to order, can't you just put them online?
A. Sure I could, but here is why I do not. At your view and order appointment I will help you narrow down to your favorite images, help you decide where you might put images on the walls in your home, and also take the order. There is no pressure to buy I often talk people out of wall art that they are unsure where it will hang! (it doesn't do anyone any good to have a canvas sitting in a closet!) This cuts down on errors and miss-understandings that often happen when placing an order via email. If you still want to place your order online rather than come back in I require a $600 minimum to be paid before the images are placed online.
