decorate your home with love the power of the printed portrait

Each day you'll walk past that piece of art on your wall.

A Portrait hangs in my home of my pregnancy, I remember my daughter pointing at it at only 2 and saying, "mommy that's you I'm in your tummy." An intense concept for a little toddler to grasp. She would always hug me after talking about the image.  I have no doubt that that image gave her a sense of being loved long before she finally was in my arms.

Now that my kids are much older, I have the last 7 years on display around my home, family portraits we've had commissioned by other photographers.  Portraits I've taken of them at the studio when I had a moment.
Some of the files are long MIA on a hard drive, amongst millions of images of clients and past brides.  It would take me hours of digging and searching to maybe find any specific session.   I am thankful I chose to PRINT and to display some of those images.    They are worth more to me today.  I'll never get my little babies back but seeing the images reminds me of how tender and sweet they were, and what amazing little humans they are growing into.
